The purpose of this privacy policy statement is to disclose the information collection process and dissemination practices for the Principal Conversations Website and the company Principal Conversations Pty Ltd ABN 56 127 431 636.
It is important to note that Principal Conversations Pty Ltd is a private sector company and is therefore bound by the Privacy Act 1998.
HOW WE HANDLE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your personal information allows others to identify you. This information includes your name, age, contact details such as school and postal addresses, email address and phone numbers, your gender as well as your financial information. We will only collect and hold your personal information if you subscibe to Principal Conversations or if you make enquiries of us that may require a response from us. The information that we collect about you is done so in the strictest confidence. Principal Conversations Pty Ltd only collects enough of your personal information in order to provide you with the services and products you have asked for in an efficient, honest and fair manner.
USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Occasionally we may use your personal information for the purposes of contacting you. You may from time to time receive informative emails; in addition employee’s of Principal Conversations Pty Ltd may contact you from time to time. If we do contact you by phone we will do so before 5.30pm EST.
Principal Conversations Pty Ltd policy requires all representatives to protect your personal information from third parties unless you have authorised us to do so.
ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Generally, you have the right to access a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Principal Conversations Pty Ltd will comply with your request under the guidelines according to the National Privacy Principles.
To access your personal information that we hold on record please contact the Privacy Officer. All requests for personal information must be made in writing by email, mail or fax. Please attention your concern to the Privacy Officer and be sure to date and sign any faxes you send to us. We may need to contact you to verify your identity.
In most cases we will not hesitate to provide you with a copy of your personal information that we hold.
Within 14 days the Privacy Officer will provide you with your request or provide an explanation in writing as to the reasons why your personal information on record cannot be disclosed.
Circumstances in which we may refuse to give you access to personal information we hold would be:
• Where we suspect a fraudulent attempt at retrieving another individuals personal information is apparent;
• Have an unreasonable impact on another persons privacy;
• Prejudice an investigation of unlawful activity; and/or
• Prejudice activities carried out by, or for, a lawful enforcement body.
If you believe the personal information that we hold on record about you is inaccurate, or your personal details have changed in anyway we encourage you to contact us by either phone, email, or in writing. In most cases we will not hesitate to adjust your details to reflect such accurate changes; however for security purposes if we are unsure of your authenticity we may ask you a number of questions to confirm your identity.
PRIVACY COMPLAINTS
We will never sell or distribute your personal information to third party organisations for the purpose of marketing campaigns or for any other reason, unless required by Australian law to do so.
